Our History

Around 1850, Christoph Wanger, the Liechtenstein member of the first German parliament in the Frankfurt Paulskirche, returned to Liechtenstein and opened an office that would offer "comprehensive financial solutions."  Wanger received a concession from the Liechtenstein government to offer legal, broker, money lending and insurance services.

In 1894, his nephew Jakob Wanger took over the business, which was then passed on to the Seeger family, relatives of the Wangers, in 1912.  Louis Seeger single-handedly ran the firm for thirty-one years, until his eldest son, Erich Seeger, after completing his studies in Innsbruck, Munich and Geneva, joined him in 1943.

In 1990 and 1992 respectively, Wolfgang and Marion Seeger joined their father to become the third generation of the Seeger family in the business.  Since 1993 Wolfgang and Marion Seeger jointly run the firm.

In January 2008 Treuhandunternehmen Seeger & Seeger merged with Gérance Treuunternehmen, a company founded in 1960 by Erich Seeger, to become Seeger & Seeger Treuunternehmen.
